Once you pay the registration fee, you are eligible to receive an abstract book and to have lunch (Dec. 10th - 13th) and dinner at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa (Dec. 10th).
In addition, you are invited to the welcome reception (Dec. 9th) and the symposium banquet (Dec. 13th) at the hotel.
Accompanying person fee for children aged below thirteen is free.

Payment
Online payment can only be made by a credit card (VISA/MASTER) in Japanese yen.
If you have missed the deadline of the online registration, the payment can only be made in cash (50,000 JPN / 560 USD / 450 EUR) at the registration desk on site.
Please note that we will not accept credit card payment for the on-site registrations.

Refund Policy for Registration Fee
Cancellation of your registration will be accepted until November 10th, 2010. For the cancellation, you are requested to send us (mihoshiabe@chem.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp) a letter with your name and the amount of the payment.

Please note that 7,000JPY (approx. 79 USD/ 63 EUR) is charged for the cancellation process.
No requests for refunds will be accepted after November 10th, 2010.

Registration On Site
The registration desk will be open during 16:00-18:00 on Dec. 9th (Thu.) at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa.

Travel Information
There are ample places to visit on the island of Maui, a selection from which participants are free to chose and visit. Please look into the link below to find out about some of the island's touristic places.

NOTE:
For participants flying in from Japan, we suggest that you book your tickets early as congestion is expected due to a marathon event held in Honolulu on Dec. 12th (JAL Honolulu Marathon.)

Accommodations
Participants of ISUILS9 can book their rooms at specially discounted rates at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa.
Please note that the discounted rates are applied only during the symposium period (Check-in: Dec. 9th, Check-out: Dec. 14th).
For a standard room, the discounted rates will be 169 USD /per night (single /double occupancy) including breakfast, tax & service charge.

Please make sure to inform us your hotel reservation request at least 1 month prior to the accommodation day.

VISA Information

Participants who are not U.S. citizens should check with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate regarding visa requirements for travel to the United States. If a U.S. visa is required, we recommend you begin your application process as early as possible. For those citizens traveling under the Visa Waver Program (citizens of select countries may travel to the United States to attend a conference for 90 days or less without obtaining a visa), you may need to apply for travel authorization via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
