Welcome to ISUILS2017
The sixteenth meeting of our symposium series will be held this year at Dian Jun Wang Hotel, Lijiang, China during October 29th – November 3rd. We are honored to have Prof. Louis Dimauro (Ohio State University) as our Honorary Chair this year.
During the symposium, we will have eight scientific sessions covering a wide array of rapidly growing interdisciplinary research fields in ultrafast intense laser science. In each session, we will have two or three invited talks followed by a discussion period. There will also be poster sessions, as well as a session for the poster presenters to give short oral presentations of their poster papers. In addition, we will have presentations by the sponsor companies in the sponsors’ sessions.
The 8th ISUILS Awards for Young Researchers will be given to promising young researchers and students. The call for applications for the awards will be posted on the website shortly. We urge the senior colleagues to encourage their students and young researchers to participate in this international symposium so that they can appreciate the frontiers of ultrafast intense laser science.
